NDPHC Leadership Visits Shettimas

The Executive Management of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, (GCON)at the State House, Abuja.

According to a statement on Tuesday, the visit was a demonstration of solidarity and support following the Vice President’s re-nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR), as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election.

It added that the Vice President who also is the Chairman of the company’s Board, warmly received the delegation. He expressed his appreciation for the visit and the goodwill extended by the Executive Management of the company.

Speaking on behalf of Management of (NDPHC), Engr. Jennifer Adighije congratulated the Vice President on his re-nomination and commended his visionary leadership, steadfast support, and commitment to the growth and transformation of NDPHC.

She noted that the Vice President’s leadership and unwavering support have been instrumental in repositioning the company for greater success and strengthening its capacity to deliver on its mandate of driving strategic investments in Nigeria’s power sector.

“Your Excellency’s guidance and support have provided the enabling environment for NDPHC to consolidate its achievements and pursue its strategic objectives with renewed vigour. We are grateful for your continued commitment to the Company’s success and to the broader development of Nigeria’s electricity value chain,” Adighije stated.

She further reaffirmed the management’s commitment to supporting the policy direction of the Federal Government under the Renewed Hope Agenda and to advancing initiatives that will improve electricity infrastructure, enhance energy security, and stimulate economic growth across the country.

According to the statement, the visit underscored the strong relationship between the Company’s Board and Executive Management, as well as their shared dedication to strengthening the Nigerian power sector in line with the Federal Government’s development priorities.

It added that the NDPHC remains committed to delivering sustainable and impactful power infrastructure projects that contribute to national development and improve the quality of life of Nigerians.
